CHEPKIIT WATERFALL

Chepkiit waterfall is found on the Kipkaren River,  it has spectacular gushing water and it is an amazing sight to see. It has very steep fall and its view is not for the fainthearted, with different angles of view from upstream and downstream.It is a perfect place for enjoying the natural sounds of water gushing down, with the rocky edge of the cliff acting as a stage for a spectacular interplay of nature’s liquid and solid offerings.However, be careful, a single misstep can be fatal. ‘Chepkiit’, in Kalenjin, means ‘view from a far a direct and stark reminder of the perils that come with being near the falls.
